QUIET NIGHTS OF BLOOD AND PAIN has been picked up for sub-distribution by TEMPE ENTERTAINMENT the long standing home video/DVD company headed by Ohio native J.R. Bookwalter who is best known for his films THE DEAD NEXT DOOR and OZONE among many, many others. Tempe is assisting Coppfilms is getting QUIET NIGHTS into the hands of retailers and a much wider audience that looks to Tempe for a different kind of Low Budget movie experience. Bookwalter has spent over twenty years in the trenches marketing and distributing movies, so we are excited to be working with him on this adventure.
So QUIET NIGHTS will be relaunched from TEMPE in Febuary 2010 (it is still available through Coppfilms until then as well), so look for it then through the normal web retailers!!!

New Film on the Way!
Hello all!!!
First off thanks for checking out the new blog and hopefully newly functional website (if not up yet it will be soon at www.coppfilms.com)! There are lots of exciting things to come as Coppfilms finally pushes ahead in a firm and focused way.
But the biggest news is that we have a new film! We've been relatively hush about this one, but we finished it in record time for an Andrew Copp production ( a little over a year, that's progress compared to the 3 to 5 year ordeals we usually face!).
The movie is called QUIET NIGHTS OF BLOOD AND PAIN! and will be officially available April 13, 2009 from the Coppfilms website and hopefully some fine web retailers as well. The Retail price will be $15.00 even plus some measly shipping etc.
The film is a Giallo styled slasher film with a very 70's feel. Telling the story of two soldiers that served in the Iraq war back home and suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Adrienne is trying her best to get help and try to reconcile her war time experiences but the government wont even acknowledge her condition and is blowing off her service to her country. William on the other hand while serving was in charge of some heavy things like torture and extermination of dissidents. The problem being that now he is home he steadfastly believes he is still on his mission and is continuing his work on the streets of America taking out anyone he feels is not a true "American" leaving a trail of blood and bodies in his wake. It will be only a matter of time before these two mentally wounded soldiers will cross paths and all hell will break loose.
The DVD includes behind the scenes footage, the original trailer, trailers for other coppfilms productions, and a half hour documentary called THE SYNDROME EXHIBIT: THE ART OF ANDREW COPP about the artwork and painting of director Andrew Copp. The poster and DVD artwork are by talented filmmaker Andrew Shearer of Gonzorriffic films.
